The NME-5 Trident by NUX is a powerful multi-effects, designed for the musician in need of a portable, reliable, rock-solid all-in-one guitar rig.

Building off the success of the hugely popular “Cerberus”, the Trident is packed with an improved system, updated hardware, and includes a huge array of additional features. The NME5 is a versatile rig that can replace your entire pedal board and amplifier, and is small enough to fit in your backpack or carry-on luggage. With the solid construction and multi-faceted outputs this really ticks every box for a portable rig!

The Trident features a variety of inbuilt effects, with 10 independently moveable signal blocks for Modulation, Reverb, Delay, and more. Set your virtual signal chain and use the intuitive footswitch system to cycle through your effects with ease! You can also set your favourite patches, and quickly flick between entire virtual rigs with ease. With a massive 96 preset slots, a tuner, all your effects, an additional boost and a 60 second phrase looper all controlled by the 10 footswitches, this intuitive interface is surprisingly easy to navigate on-the-fly. Plus, the Trident uses real control knobs and not digital parameters, which allow for easy adjustment to your effects and settings without having to dig through digital menus, and it gives the entire unit a solid and robust feel.

Powered by NUX’s world-famous TSAC-HD “White Box” algorithm, the NME5 provides realistic amp response and modelling, with 27 amp and Cab IRs at 1024 sample resolution. You can also fine tune your Cab tone with 4 selectable microphones, each with 3 virtual positions, and the Trident also allows for 3rd party IR loading, with an additional 32 IR slots and automatic file conversion to ensure your downloaded IRs and patches work seamlessly! The intuitive and free Trident Editor™️ software allows you to easily manage your preset patches and effects, and offers unbounded customisation and setup options. You can make your Trident your own, and tweak everything to your personal preferences in no time.

The NME5 also includes an integrated FX-loop to ensure any external modulation effects get the best possible signal order, and has plenty of connectivity options. With two XLR DI-outs, two ¼ outputs, Aux-In, Headphones-out, MIDI-IN and MIDI-OUT, as well as a master volume and Ground Lift switch, the top panel allows for a multitude of setup with any rig in any venue, and is suitable for the 4 cable method also.
