Martin & Co D-41 Dreadnought - Rosewood - Reimagined

40/SS-D41
Enquire For Stock

Inlaid in stunning abalone pearl and appointed with gold tuners, it's more than a Dreadnought: it's an heirloom. Premium East Indian rosewood and spruce combined with hand-carved scalloped bracing to produce rich, powerful, complex tone.

In production since the late 60s, the D-41 is a higher-specced Dreadnought with deluxe appointments and upgraded features. It has a gloriously addictive 'Modified Low Oval' neck that is both comfortable and fast, a beautiful vertical abalone headstock logo and perfectly-grained East Indian Rosewood body. The forward-shifted bracing maintains consistency and helps tame some of the more unruly bass notes of the standard Dreadnought, and this guitar is equally comfortable in C tuning as it is in Standard. Truly a masterpiece of Martin Guitar building.
