The Ibanez 1978 Black Eagle is an iconic, "lawsuit-era" Japanese electric bass. Produced at the Terada factory, it is highly collectible due to its low production numbers (around 207 made in 1978) and association with Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic. It features a mahogany body, maple neck, a distinctive 'F-hole' headstock, and an engraved black pickguard featuring a mother-of-pearl eagle.
