This is a vintage Starcaster in very good condition. It's all original, except for an excellent refret (and subsequent refinished fingerboard) that makes it supremely playable.
Bold and curvy, the Starcaster never really took off at launch but gained its fame later in life so these original Fender versions are hard to come by. The Starcaster broke the mold of semi-hollow guitar design with its offset body shape when it was introduced in the ‘70s, offering versatile sounds and out-of-this-world styling for the most adventurous players. The Starcaster creates massive tone courtesy of its dual Fender Wide Range humbucking pickups.
This is a unique, semi-hollow guitar with that classic asymmetrical body, a maple fretboard and a bolt-on neck.
Comes with the original hardshell case.
