Located south of Europe along the Mediterranean Sea, Valencia Spain is home to the prestigious ESTEVE craft workshop. In 1957 Francisco Esteve, Manuel Antonio and Monfort Adalid decided to create a guitar workshop and begin their journey in the construction of musical instruments. ESTEVE guitars are known and appreciated throughout the world for their tone and excellent finish, by the high quality materials used and for that rare combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques used in the construction process. The result is a Spanish guitar with soul that gives inspiration to players around the world.
Francisco Esteve and Manuel Antonio Monfort Adalid starting building guitars in the Spanish town of Valencia in 1957. Manual’s son, also Manual Adalid, is now in charge of the Esteve brand and has adapted to the demands of the international market by incorporating new designs and construction techniques whilst also keeping alive the spirit of traditional Spanish Craftsmanship. Esteve builds quality guitars from budget student instruments to handmade concert guitars.
