Body - Ash
Xotic guitar bodies are made from high grade tonewood which has been properly seasoned. Xotic added neck joint stability with very tight tolerances for stable tuning. Premium Ash bodies sources from US Midwest and East Coast. 

Nitrocellulose Lacquer Body, Oil finish neck
Our finishes are significantly thinner and lighter in weight than conventional guitar finishes. Nitrocellulose Lacquer is known to have excellent aging characteristics for musical instruments. When the guitar ages properly it promotes a lower damping coefficient meaning greater warmth, longer sustain and louder volume.

Setups
Finally, Xotic believe the guitar should play very easily without fatigue. Thus, it is essential to have a proper setup: adjusting the nut, the amount of bow in the neck, level of the frets and heights of strings for incredibly comfortable playability. Xotic's highly trained luthiers carefully inspect each instrument and perform a highly detailed setup that brings out the full potential of the instrument insuring each guitar plays its very best.
