Takamine LTD2023 30th Anniversary Santa Fe

Takamine was one of the first guitar manufacturers to utilize CNC routers and laser cutting machines in its production. With the aid of that then burgeoning technology, Takamine created the ESF-93—the very first Santa Fe model, fusing the new technology with old-world handcraftsmanship.

In keeping with the tradition of all the Santa Fe models, LTD2023 has vibrant turquoise inlays that celebrate the art and culture of the Southwestern United States.

The NEX-sized body has a solid cedar top and beautifully figured silky oak back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, a pinless bridge (in keeping with the Santa Fe model tradition).

Ease of amplification is achieved through the retro-inspired CTF-2N electronics and Palathetic pickup system. The original “Brownie” preamp that Takamine developed was supported by legendary famous American artists such as Ry Cooder, David Lindley, the Eagles, and Bruce Springsteen for its warm sound produced by the unique saturation effect of the FET amplification element. This “CTF-2N” preamp, developed on the 60th anniversary of Takamine’s establishment last year, is based on the original “Brownie” sound with adding new modern functions such as detailed EQ adjustment, notch filter and tuning meter to be a new version of the Brownie preamp. 

A special commemorative Takamine Santa Fe design guitar strap is included along with a semi-hard case.
