This bundle includes the Roland G-707 guitar, the matching GR-700 synth unit, and the GM-70 rack unit.

The G-707 is a Japanese-made beast that sounds as good as it looks. The frets have plenty of life, and the guitar is in great condition. The pickups have heaps of bite, perfectly suiting the striking aesthetics of the instrument. In addition to its MIDI functionality, the guitar functions as a standard electric.

When paired with the GR-700 synth module, the guitar acts as a controller that triggers a fully analogue synthesizer. There is an abundance of sounds to be discovered with this pairing, and the presets offer plenty of '80s nostalgia.

If you are deeply offended by the sounds of the 80's, the GM-70 rack unit converts the G-707’s signal to a modern MIDI output that can be used with any compatible device, including modern synths or DAW plugins.

Condition Note

Please note that the original GR-700 synth module requires some work. One of the six voice chips is intermittent; as a result, the G-string will occasionally mis-trigger or get stuck on a note. The original owner recommended replacing all six voice chips to restore the module to its most reliable state. These parts are still readily available to purchase. The price reflects this fault.
