Martin & Co 000-28EC - Eric Clapton Signature Model

Martin have based this model on Eric Clapton's guitar of choice for his iconic MTV Unplugged performance. Constructed from East Indian rosewood, the visually stunning 000-28EC produces a well-balanced tone.

Back and sides are meticulously constructed from solid East Indian rosewood, topped with a soundboard book-matched from select quarter-sawn Sitka spruce. The rosette, as well as the perimeter of the sound-boards, are inlaid with finely patterned herringbone wood marquetry. The body is bound with grained ivoroid. A beautiful bony fingerboard features the pre-war Style 28 snowflake pattern, and Eric Clapton's signature is inlaid in mother-of-pearl between the 19th and 20th frets. Each 00028BEC bears an interior label, individually numbered in sequence.
