Gibson Les Paul 1959 Michael Bloomfield - Aged by Tom Murphy #018
C-1830One of the premier Les Paul players of the 60s blues explosion, Michael Bloomfield blew audiences away with killer Chicago blues tones from his trusty '59 Les Paul Standard.
The Michael Bloomfield 1959 Les Paul Standard faithfully captures that celebrated tone, along with every precious detail of the original. Starting with the Les Paul’s traditional carved maple top and solid, non-weight relieved mahogany back, this instrument is pure Gibson, right down to such time-honored appointments like CTS potentiometers and bumble-bee capacitors, holly headstock veneer, Grover kidney tuners and a rounded neck profile similar to those on the original Les Pauls from 1959
Straight from the Gibson Custom Shop this is a very low serial number of a limited run of only 100 Tom Murphy aged guitars that replicate that guitar.
This super rare guitar is one of the most sought after Gibson Artist Models of all time and is in absolute mint condition having been previously collector owned. It has barely been played.
It ships in a Gibson Custom Shop Michael Bloomfield case, all of its original paperwork, unopened case candy (including lead) and signed Certificate of Authenticity.
