Here's something a little bit unusual.
This nearly century-old German pre-war lute guitar, tuned just like your everyday 6-string, boasts a beautifully preserved original finish. Crafted around the 1930s or 40s in the famed Musikwinkel region near the Czech-German border, it’s bursting with history and charm. Meticulously checked and cleaned by our luthier, this antique gem delivers a rich, resonant sound that truly makes it sing. Complete with an intricately carved rosette, scalloped rosewood fretboard, and all parts in excellent shape. It’s definitely made for playing — not just gathering dust on a wall!
In Germany, these instruments are known commonly as Wandervogel lutes, but they're also know as Panzerlauten, which might well be my new favourite word.
Comes with a hard case.
