This is a pre-loved Jazz Bass with a fretless mod, in good condition for its 25+ years.

A high-end model that follows the classic '62 style and is equipped with vintage pickups made in the USA. Based on the “JB62-75US,” this guitar has been modified to feature a fretless design with line markings.

Manufactured during the “Crafted in Japan” era, circa 1997–2000, it features an alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. In addition to its classic three-tone sunburst finish, it is equipped with vintage U.S.-made single-coil pickups—with “048612” and “048613” engraved on the bobbins—delivering a natural, jazz-bass-like sound with rich lows and well-defined mid-to-high frequencies.

This instrument has been modified to a fretless configuration with line markings, making it easier to locate your position while playing and making it an easy-to-handle choice for those looking to try their hand at the fretless bass. It’s finished to let you fully savour its smooth, singing tone and woody nuances.

Gotoh tuning machines have been installed, the saddle or bridge has been replaced, and a part different from the standard spiral saddle has been installed.
