The Dean MLX Floyd Classic Black brings the unmistakable Dean ML body shape together with a performance-focused specification built for rock and metal players. Finished in bold Classic Red, the MLX combines iconic Dean styling with high-output pickups and a Floyd Rose tremolo system.

An Eastern Mahogany body provides a strong tonal foundation, while the Maple neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius, 22 jumbo nickel frets, and a 24 3/4-inch scale length for a familiar and responsive playing feel.

A DMT Design pickup set provides the powerful output needed for heavy rhythm tones and cutting lead sounds. Individual volume controls, a master tone control, and a 3-way toggle switch provide straightforward control over the pickup configuration.

The Floyd Rose FR20 tremolo allows expressive pitch effects, from subtle vibrato through to aggressive dive bombs, while the Floyd Rose R3 locking nut helps maintain tuning stability. Sealed die-cast tuning machines complete this performance-ready version of the iconic Dean ML.
