The Cole Clark Kennedy bass is the result of two decades of bass research by esteemed builder, Neil Kennedy in conjunction with Australian Guitar builders Cole Clark.

This bass has been designed from the ground up. An incredibly ergonomic body design puts the bass in the perfect playing position and delivers perfect balance. Intricate body contouring and chamfering make for a beautifully comfortable body feel. The bass is a full neck through body construction which delivers superb sustain and natural compression to its tone whilst still delivering the punch and responsiveness of a bolt on design.

A figured Mountain Ash body delivers great clarity and definition with super responsiveness. Ash has long been revered as one of the finest tone woods available.

The 35" neck is a 3 piece Queensland Maple construction with a River She Oak fretboard. 24 Frets and a Brass nut ensure that you have definition from the lowest of notes to the highest.

The Bridge design offers the choice of string through body or top loaded stringing. The string through body options gives a higher overall string tension whilst the top load option gives you a more traditional string tension and feel.

Loaded with USA Aguilar pickups and an Aguilar active 3 band preamp. A passive tone control is inline in both active and passive modes which allows you to mellow out the preamp or to deliver classic retro tones if you put the bass in passive mode. Push/Pull mid range selector allows a choice of mid freq control. The Volume pot is a push/pull active/passive switch which will engage or disengage the preamp.

All in all this is an incredible Australian made bass that delivers an instrument that competes with the worlds best. Beautifully made, superbly toned and loaded with top of the line electronics.

This bass has a tiny ding by the input jack (see photo). It in no way affects playbility but we have discounted the bass.
