Inside the GX‐1B are 16 bass‐tuned AIRD amplifier models and more than 130 BOSS effects, offering a huge range of tones from clean and punchy to driven and experimental. With eight simultaneous effect blocks, plus volume pedal and noise suppression, players can build flexible signal chains suited to different genres, songs, and performance situations.

Operation is streamlined with a high‐resolution colour display and hexagon‐shaped effect buttons that provide clear visual feedback and fast access to sound categories. The Gear Suite feature speeds up tone creation even further, allowing complete amp and effect setups to be recalled instantly with a single knob turn, while still offering deep editing for personalised sounds.
