Hand inlayed, one piece at a time. Yes, it is a LOT of work. But it is the only way the  Zemaitis custom Shop have found to achieve the classic look of their Pearl Front model.

Featuring 2 x DiMarzio Custom PAF (DP103) style Pickups and  1-piece Honduran Mahogany neck &  1-piece Honduran Mahogany body and you have a stunning  work of art that is also a killer guitar !  A very special instrument, and the pinnacle of “The Elements of Tone.”

One piece lightweight Honduran mahogany, with a hand rubbed satin finish that is not only beautiful, but feels like nothing else we have ever played. Smooth and silky, it is comfort at its best.

This gorgeous instrument features a Set-In neck, a hallmark of top-tier guitar craftsmanship. Tony Zemaitis insisted on using only glued-in joints, believing the neck joint to be one of the most critical elements of guitar construction. Through extensive experimentation, he developed a unique method that sets the neck deeper into the body than conventional designs. This approach increases the contact surface between neck and body, resulting in greater durability, improved string vibration, enhanced tone, and longer sustain.

The finish on a Zemaitis guitar is a standout feature, reflecting the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship. Tony Zemaitis developed a meticulous hand-finishing process involving multiple coats of hand-applied lacquer, with each layer carefully rubbed down by hand. This technique takes four to five times longer than the typical factory spray finish, but the result is a rich, vintage look and feel that only a hand-built guitar can offer.

This tradition continues in their small custom shop, where master craftsmen hand-polish each instrument to perfection. Tony chose this method not only for its durability, but because the thin, resilient coating allows the natural acoustic qualities of the wood to shine—resulting in a guitar that looks incredible and sounds even better.
