We are super stoked to be appointed Queensland dealer for Rivolta Guitars, the latest creation from acclaimed guitar builder and designer Dennis Fano, the founder of Fano Guitars.
The Rivolta models are the new chapter in the evolution of Fano - featuring the best elements of Fano’s well-known designs for Fano Guitars and Novo Guitars.
Apart from looking uber cool, Rivolta guitars are beautifully made with great attention to detail.
The workmanship is terrific. The finish and binding are flaw-free. The expertly installed vintage-flavored frets provide low, comfy action, while the neck has a substantial, old-school C profile. It’s super easy to play on the speedy neck, yet you can still dig into notes and shape them with precision.
As always, it’s fun to pick out Fano’s vintage influences. Rickenbacker’s solid bodies are the predominant flavour here—evident in the body shape, headstock, and the German carve (the routed-out indentation near the top’s perimeter) much as on the old Fano RB6. But wait! The two P-90s or mini humbuckers and a wraparound bridge hail from Gibsonland, the super-sized position markers hint at Hofner and Roger-brand solid bodies, and the offbeat vinyl pickguard adds a touch of Mosrite Ventures model.
Rivolta guitars offer power pop/funky blues/roots/R&B colours, and even attractive jazz tones with the tone control pulled back.
These guitars are vibrant and vibey in both sight and sound.
They'll brightens any room!
They're are a must for someone looking to step out of the traditional big brands without forking out a small fortune.
