The Gibson J-15 is hand-built in the Gibson Bozeman factory, Montana. It has the same time-tested luthiery techniques that have made Gibson guitars the most sought-after instruments in the world. This guitar features a dovetail neck joint secured using hide glue, scalloped bracing to maximise resonance and a hand sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer finish as done on all Gibson guitars.
Every inch a Gibson, the J-15 is handcrafted from solid tonewood’s. Big projection comes from it’s Sitka spruce top and unique to this guitar the solid walnut back and sides give it a vintage cosmetic and sound without the price tag of Genuine Mahogany. This J-15 also comes with a maple neck. The Gibson standard series acoustics come fitted with an LR Baggs Element pickup system for live performance and recording rounding out this absolute work-horse of a guitar.
