Gibson ES-335TDC Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1967), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 058023, cherry nitro cellulose lacquer finish, laminated maple body, one piece mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, orange 'Union Made" label in a high quality non original hard shell case. This stunning 1967 ES-335TDC, in the classic cherry red finish, resonates acoustically beautifully & plugged in has a warm, clear and punchy tone.
The guitar is all original .....finish, frets, electronics, enclosed Kluson Deluxe tuners , trapeze tailpiece, and two Gibson humbucking pickups with patent number sticker on the bases. The only non original thing that we're aware of is the Tune-O-Matic bridge (original bridge is available) has been replaced with a Bonamassa bridge (3 nylon saddles treble, 3 nickel saddles bass). The bound rosewood fingerboard has pearloid block inlay and the nut width is the narrow 1 5/8" width adopted in late 1965. The finish has delightful crazing and very few marks.
All in all the guitar shows little play time & is extremely well-preserved for its 50+ years. A great-looking and sounding 1967 ES-335TDC with no breaks, cracks or issues. It has recently had a professional set up including fret recrown. There is still several years playing life left in the original frets. An excellent+ looking, playing and sounding late '60s ES-335.
In Non Original Hardcase.
