Every one of Eastman's laminated thinlines has a center block that runs the length of the body right down the center, which aids in the suppression of feedback and reinforces the top. The incredible resonance of this instrument is further enhanced by a super smooth, super thin Antique Amber Varnish finish, which also gives the T59\/V a classic vintage aesthetic. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers are the perfect choice for this instant classic. These boutique authentically aged vintage-output Alnico II pickups, much like the rest of the Eastman T59\/V, deliver a vintage aesthetic and tone - fresh out of a time machine from the late '50s. Arguably the closest modern pickup to an original P.A.F., these pickups are built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, where they're wound on Seymour Duncan's original Leesona winding machine, from the early Kalamazoo Gibson factory. The mould for their butyrate bobbins was created by the same factory that built the original P.A.F. mould for Gibson. They're also aged, both cosmetically and magnetically, to simulate the tonal compensation that pickups experience after decades of playing. The neck pickup is mellow and articulate with a sweet, gentle treble and warm, full lows.
