A WORLD OF TRADITION

Since their foundation in 1957, the quality and attention to detail, together with the incorporation of new technologies and the work of their craftsmen have made ESTEVE guitars an internationally renowned company.

Located south of Europe along the Mediterranean Sea, Valencia Spain is home to the prestigious ESTEVE craft workshop. In 1957 Francisco Esteve, Manuel Antonio and Monfort Adalid decided to create a guitar workshop and begin their journey in the construction of musical instruments. ESTEVE guitars are known and appreciated throughout the world for their tone and excellent finish, by the high quality materials used and for that rare combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques used in the construction process. The result is a Spanish guitar with soul that gives inspiration to players around the world.

The Esteve Classical Guitar Model 7SR is the first in Manuel Adalid’s line of All Solid Wood Classical Guitars.  Again, these are a truly superb line of guitars built by Manuel and his team of luthiers.

The build is superior, with solid tops from Canada or Germany (Western Red Cedar), with African Ebony Fingerboards layered upon an African Mahogany Neck and all solid East Indian Rosewoods for the Back and Sides, specially selected by Manuel.

The sound has a strong Spanish characteristic, while the playability is surprisingly easy. Thinly lacquered, as are all of Manuel’s guitars up to the 9C/B, the guitar is very vibrant against the body, while projecting beautifully, and is suitable for recitals and performance. Another outstanding value from Manuel Adalid and the Esteve family of Spanish classical guitars.
