Vintage & Rare 1959 Fender Precision "P-Bass" 4 String Bass Guitar with "Slab" Rosewood Fretboard, Clay Dot Position Markers, Sunburst Finish & Original Hardshell Case
This bass was originally owned by Australia's first "King of RocknRoll" Johnny O'Keefe (Documentation of authenticity provided with the bass). Otherwise known as "The Wild One", J O'K bought this bass on a trip to the US in 1959 and brought it back to Australia with him.
This is an exceptionally rare all original 1959 Fender P Bass in excellent condition with normal player wear.
Apart from one machine head screw the Bass is 100% original.
Body & neck finish are 100% original and in excellent condition!
Frets are original but well worn.
All the electronics are untouched with all original solder joints.
Neck is slim profile and incredibly playable.
Professionally set up. Plays and sounds AMAZING!
Comes in it's original Brown Tolex hard case that is well worn. (Hinges work but catches and locks no longer function) Comes with two 'ashtray' covers.
