About Guitar Brothers
Guitar Brothers is owned by two Brisbane musicians
Craig Claxton and
Reece Specis. Both are
no strangers to the competitive world of retail both working in music
retail and wholesale both nationally and internationally for the past 20
years. Guitar Brothers now offers Brisbane unique products not normally
displayed in the likes of the chain stores. We represent the professional
end of the market and have the ability to consult professionals correctly
the first time and source products that are hard to find. We stock the
best and we expect the best. We hand pick and play every one of our
instruments that you see on our inventory before they reach you, the
consumer. 'Unique' is a word that we are proud of! Guitar Brothers are
giving for the first time, a forum for Australian builders of
amplification and guitars both electric and acoustic. You will be
surprised at the quality of workmanship that is right here in our back
yard and we are proud to display some of these works of art in our shop.
Selling or Trading in ?
We trade in quality instruments preferably made in the USA, UK and
Spain. Again, we are fairly stringent when critiquing instruments. Guitar
Brothers are always on the look out for vintage instruments.
If
you have a guitar or amplifier that you want to get insured we can help
with a Valuation Certificate, just bring the little sweetie in and we will
do the rest.
Let us Help You
Importing guitars from the USA is a tricky business if you don't know
your way around. Guitar Brothers now offer a service that takes the guess
work out of picking an instrument internationally, sight unseen and
unplayed. Guitar Brothers have a 'Wish Book' for people looking for that
something special and when travelling on our wholesale trips we can hunt
them down, email the pictures to you and give feedback on the playability.
When you sign up, you will get a password that will let you into our
'International Client Area' where you can chill out and have a browse
through some of the rarest instruments the world has to offer.
